Possible states
(All 125/150 models)
• Fuel supply closed OFF – Fuel cannot flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
• Fuel supply open ON – Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The
fuel tank empties completely.
(250 SX)
• Fuel supply closed OFF – Fuel cannot flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
• Fuel supply open ON – Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The
fuel tank empties completely.
6.9 Fuel tap (All XC models)

Fuel tap

is on the left of the fuel tank.
Possible states
• Fuel supply closed OFF – Fuel cannot flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
• Fuel supply open ON – Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The fuel
tank empties down to the reserve level.
• Fuel reserve supply open RES – Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
The fuel tank empties completely.
