– Detach the fuel line with a suitable tool.
– Push back hose clamp 1 and pull off the fuel line.

– Mount special tool 2.

– Mount special tool 3 with the nozzle code 0,45.

– Position the hose end in a fuel can.
Guideline
Minimum size of fuel can 10 l (2.6 US gal)
– Switch the ignition on.
– Execute "Actuator test" > "Fuel pump relay function test".

– Check the fuel pressure with the filler cap closed.

When the fuel pump is active 2.5… 2.9 bar (36… 42 psi)
» If the specification is not reached:
– Open the filler cap. ( p. 38)
– Check the tank air vent system.

– Check that the fuel line is clear.
– Change the fuel filter. ( p. 50)
– Replace the fuel pump. ( p. 51)
– Stop the "Function test of fuel pump control" actuator test by pressing the "Quit" but-
ton.
– Remove the special tools.

– Remove the tool.
