– Position the brake line and wiring harness. Put on the clamp and mount and
tighten screws

Finishing work
– Install the front fender. ( p. 65)
– Mount the handlebar cushion.
– Refit the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 98)
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 100)
– Install the front wheel. ( p. 90)
– Check that the wiring harness, throttle cables, and brake and clutch lines can move
freely and are routed correctly.
– Check the play of the steering head bearing. ( p. 62)
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 52)

If the bike is ridden with play in the steering head bearing, the bearing and the bearing seats in the frame can become dam-
aged over time.
