The valve clearance might be too little; have the valve clearance adjusted. The electronic ignition adjustment could be defective; have the ignition system checked.

Also, the fuel filter might be very dirty, so replace it. If there is a defect in the fuel injection system read out the fault memory using the KTM diagnostics tool. Check the exhaust system for leaks or deformation. If the exhaust system is leaky, deformed or has too little glass fiber yarn filling in main silencer, change the glass fiber yarn filling of the main silencer. Lastly, check if the valve clearance is too little and adjust it.
