Dismounting the air filter box lid

ಥ Pull off the air filter box lid in area to the side and remove to the front.
Installing the air filter box lid

ಥ Insert the air filter box lid into the rear area and clip it into the front area.
Removing the air filter

Engine failureಗUnfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
ಥ Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.

Environmental hazardಗProblem materials cause environmental damage.
ಥ Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.
ಥ Dismount the air filter box lid. ( P. 26)

ಥ Hang the air filter holder out to the bottom and swing it to the side. Remove the
air filter with the air filter support.
ಥ Remove the air filter from the air filter support.
Installing the air filter

ಥ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ಥ Mount the clean air filter onto the air filter support.
ಥ Put in both parts together, position them and fix them with the air filter support
.

If the air filter is not correctly mounted, dust and dirt can penetrate into the
engine and can cause damage.
