  Uneven stubble can occur for several reasons. It may be due to dull or broken knives, which require replacement. Ensure knives are installed correctly, with the arrow on the knife upper face pointing in the disc's direction of rotation. Excessive ground speed or incorrect cutting height can also cause this issue, so reduce ground speed and adjust the cutting height accordingly. Also, check for incorrect mowing unit floatation and adjust the mowing unit ground pressure. If you are dealing with tangled and down crops, reduce the cutting height and adjust the mowing unit ground pressure.
