      Uneven stubble can occur for several reasons. It may be due to too much tilt on the cutterbar, low PTO speed, knives not installed correctly (ensure the arrow on the knife upper face points in the disc's rotation direction), or worn/dull knives (replace knives). To fix this, reduce the cutterbar tilt, increase the engine speed to run the PTO at the correct RPM, check knife installation, and replace worn knives.
