Overview

The Kverneland 4332LR - 4336LR - 4336CR is a towed swather designed for the swath laying of common grass and corn crops. The LR model operates on the right-hand side of the tractor, while the CR model can operate on both sides. The machine is towed by a drawbar coupled to the tractor's lift arms, which allows it to be set in either transport or working position using the tractor's hydraulic system. The cutting unit is hydraulically connected to the main frame and can be lowered using the tractor's hydraulic system. It is balanced by strong springs, ensuring precise ground following and uniform crop cutting. For safety, the recommended mowing speed does not exceed 15 km/h (9 mph). The machine is CE marked, complying with EC regulations to ensure safe operation.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Working Width: 4332LR: 3.2 m (10’ 6”) // 4336LR/CR: 3.6 m (11’ 10”)

Usage Features:

  • Crop Compatibility: Suitable for mowing all types of grass, clover, whole crop, alfalfa, and sorghum.
  • Cutting Unit: Equipped with durable, reversible knives for high capacity, even with difficult crops.
  • Conditioning: Fitted with powerful rollers for effective crop conditioning.
  • Headland Turning: Quick and easy hydraulic lifting of the cutterbar without tools.
  • Swath Adjustment: Two deflector plates allow adjustment of the cutting swath width to suit the following chopper, aiming for a broad and even swath.
  • Stubble Height Adjustment: Variable settings for stubble height (15-100 mm) using connecting links and bolts. High skids (20 mm, 40 mm, 80 mm) are available as extra equipment for uneven fields with stones or molehills.
  • Roller Pressure Adjustment: Adjustable via strong springs on both sides of the machine. Increased pressure for grassy crops, reduced for clover and leafy crops. Standard setting is approximately 2 mm (3/32’’) between spring coils.
  • Roller Distance Adjustment: The recommended distance between rollers is 3 mm (1/8’’), adjustable by screwing nuts.
  • PTO Shaft Options: Can be fitted with PTO shafts with either 8 or 21 splines.
  • Hour Counter: Available as extra equipment, records total running time and trip time, with a light function for dark conditions. It generates its own power when the PTO shaft is coupled.
  • Warning Sign: Reflective warning sign available as extra equipment for safe transport on public roads.
  • Weights: Can be fitted to the wheels for stabilization on hilly terrain.
  • Chain for Locking Lift Arms: Available as extra equipment to prevent accidental lowering of the tractor's lift arms.
