1-6-2 Paper feed section
(1) Detaching and refitting the forwarding, paper feed and separation pulleys
Follow the procedure below to replace the forwarding, paper feed and separation pulleys.
Procedure
• Removing the primary paper feed units
1. Open the front cover and pull out the upper
and lower cassettes.
2. Remove the one screw from each of the
primary paper feed units and then the units.

• Removing the forwarding pulley
3. Remove the stopper.
4. Raise the forwarding pulley retainer in the
direction the arrow, and remove from the
primary paper feed unit.

5. Remove the stop ring, pull the forwarding
pulley shaft in the direction of the arrow, and
remove the forwarding pulley.
