account via the device.

With syncing, any entries (with phone numbers, email addresses, pictures, etc.) are updated

and synced with your device.

For more information about syncing existing managed accounts, see General Sync Settings.

Press Home > Menu , and touch System settings > Accounts & sync. 1.

Touch the account you want to sync your People entries with. 2.

Touch the Sync Contacts check box to select the feature. (A check mark indicates this 3.

feature is enabled.)

Note: The process of updating your People can take several minutes. If after 10-20 minutes,

your list has not been updated, repeat steps 2 and 3.

The People list then reflects any updated entry information.

 This update process works both ways. For example, any changes on the device are

updated to your Gmail contacts list after sync.

Display Options

Select how the People list is displayed.

Press Home , and touch > People. 1.

Press Menu , and touch Settings. 2.

Set the following options. 3.

 Sort list by to choose how your entries are sorted.

 View contact names as to choose how the names of your entries are displayed.

Share a People Entry

You can quickly share People entries using Bluetooth, Email, or Gmail.

Press Home , and touch > People. 1.

Touch an entry to display it, and then press Menu , and touch Share. 2.

In the Share contact via menu, select a method: 3.

 Bluetooth to send the information via Bluetooth. See Bluetooth for information on

pairing and sending via Bluetooth.
