Coffee dose too high. Impeller must be lowered.
The diffuser screen is pressed into the coffee puck,
evidenced by a pronounced ring from the diffuser screen
around the circumference of the portafilter.(1)
There is also a deep indentation in the center
of the coffee pack from the diffuser screw.(2)
HOW TO PERFORM THE ADJUSTMENT:

1 . Remove the four screws that secure the tower to the Swift.
2. Remove the tower from the grinder and locate the white Teflon disc directly under the tamping
motor. Inserted in the Teflon disc there is a brass collar.
As you rotate the disc you will notice three holes into the brass collar where an HEX screw is
inserted.
Locate the slot where the HEX screw is installed. The screw is installed in the slot that lines up with
the flat side of the impeller’s shaft.
