3.5.4 Scanning On/Off
•Press [A/F] button more than 3S for setting the Scanning On. The radio start to scroll through
the channels in scan list (the “ ” icon should start blinking). It could scan minimum 5 chan-
nels per second.
•When signal received, it will stop at that channel and could hear voice from speaker. And when
signal dispear, it will continue to scan after 5 seconds (The 5 seconds shall be reset every time
when [PTT] is pressed or the radio receives signal).
•If there is no channel (besides the priority channel) in the list the scanning shall not be able to
be set on.
•Press [A/F] button 3 seconds again for setting the Scanning Off during operating and the radio
will go back to the previous channel before scanning started.
Note: During the scanning, if [P] is pressed, it will stop scanning and go to the priority channel.
3.6 PRIORITY EMERGENCY CHANNEL
•Press [P] button to go to the priority channel. The display will show
icon.
•Press [P] again to quit the emergency channel and go back to the operating channel before
entering into priority channel.
•Press [up] / [down] button, it will go the previous or next channel to the priority channel.
NOTE! When operating in emergency channel, the scan function would be disable.
3.7 Monitor Function
This function is used to setting the speaker level.
•Press & hold the [SQ] button for setting the squelch off, it should hear the noise from speaker.
•Turn Volume knob to the suitable level.
•It would be ON once you release it.
3.8 RECEIVING AND TRANSMITTING
3.8.1 Transmitting mode:
Pressing [PTT] button, the radio will enter transmitting mode and the red LED will be on, also the
LCD will show the icon.
one bar = 0.5-1 watt = low power
two bars = 2-3 watt = high power AM
four bars = > 4 watt = high power FM
3.8.2 Receiving mode:
The green LED will be on if receiving the signal and the volume of speaker will export directly,
also the LCD will show the icon
