According to EN 14459, remote fault release is per-
mitted only 4 times within 15 minutes.
The fault release is monitored by CMS Remote Soft-
ware, LAMTEC SYSTEM BUS and fieldbus.
Exceeding the number of fault releases causes the
fault shot-down and further remote fault releases are
ignored.
After a waiting period, another remote fault release is
possible.
The fault shut-down also occurs, if a fault release
was send, although none is existing!
A reset by terminal is always possible.
Reset fault:
– Wait for 15 minutes until you try to reset the
fault again
– Disconnect the power supply voltage of the CMS
for a moment, reconnect it and reset the fault
subsequently.
