Why is my Lancer Dispenser producing excessive foaming?
    • M
      Michael MartinezSep 12, 2025
Excessive foaming in your Lancer dispenser can occur due to several reasons. Ensure the ice bin is filled with ice to allow the coldplate to re-stabilize. High incoming water or syrup temperatures can also cause foaming, so correct these before they reach the dispenser. Check that the CO pressure isn't too high, and adjust it downward, but not below 25 psi (0.172 MPa). Also, a water flow rate that is too high can contribute to foaming, so readjust and reset the ratio. Clean the nozzle and diffuser and bleed any air from the BIB lines.

What to do if my Lancer Dispenser is dispensing water only, or syrup only?
    • D
      David LoveSep 12, 2025
If your Lancer dispenser is dispensing only water or only syrup, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the syrup BIB is empty and replace it if needed. Ensure the water or syrup shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Inspect the water and syrup supply for any issues; if there's no supply, check the unit for other problems and ensure the BIB connection is engaged. Also, verify that the CO pressure to the syrup pump is between 70-80 psi (0.483-0.552 MPa). A stalled or inoperative BIB pump could also be the cause, so check the CO pressure and consider replacing the pump. Finally, check for any kinked lines and remove the kink or replace the line.

What to do if my Lancer Dispenser isn't dispensing any product when the switch is activated?
    • A
      Amy WilsonSep 12, 2025
If your Lancer dispenser isn't dispensing product when activated, there could be several reasons. First, check if there is power to the dispenser by inspecting the internal breaker and incoming power. A malfunctioning power supply could also be the cause; check the voltage to the power supply and the fuses. If the power supply is working, a malfunctioning PCB board might be the issue, requiring replacement. Also, ensure the keyswitch is turned on and the keyswitch harness is properly connected. Lastly, a malfunctioning LFCV valve module could be the problem, and it may need to be replaced.

What to do if my Lancer Dispenser is only dispensing syrup but no water, and CO gas is dispensed with syrup?
    • M
      Michael DoughertySep 9, 2025
If your Lancer dispenser is dispensing only syrup along with CO gas, but no water, it could be due to several reasons. First, check for proper water flow to the dispenser. If there is no water flow, the carbonator pump motor might have timed out; try resetting it by turning the unit off and then on using the circuit breaker or by momentarily unplugging it. Also, ensure the liquid level probe is correctly connected to the PCB assembly. If the connections are fine, the PCB assembly or the liquid level probe itself might be defective and require replacement. Finally, a weak or defective carbonator pump can also cause this issue, so consider replacing the pump.

What to do if my Lancer Commercial Food Equipment's push chute opens the ice door and runs the motor, but no ice dispenses or the ice is poor quality?
    • C
      Cheryl HarveySep 8, 2025
If the ice door opens, the motor runs, but no ice dispenses or the ice is of poor quality from your Lancer Commercial Food Equipment, first ensure the dispenser is filled with ice. If it is, check if the agitator pin is missing or damaged and replace it if necessary. If the ice quality is poor, service the ice machine. Also, verify that the key is installed on the agitation shaft.

Why is there insufficient soda flow in my Lancer Commercial Food Equipment?
    • A
      Amanda GomezAug 23, 2025
If you're experiencing insufficient soda flow with your Lancer Commercial Food Equipment, the issue could stem from a few causes. First, check that the incoming CO pressure is between 70 psi (0.483 MPa) and 80 psi (0.552 MPa). Also, ensure the shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Finally, foreign debris in the soda flow control can cause this problem; remove the soda flow control from the valve and clean out any foreign material.
