The tension in the V1 / D3 shrouds and
the D2 shrouds control the mast bend,
Adjustment of the tension on the
shrouds is done via the bottle screws.
To tighten and loosen you will require
an adjustable spanner to hold the
swage at the top of the bottle screw
and insert a screwdriver to turn the
bottle screw body in the required
direction. When adjusting the bottle
screws it is a good idea to keep a
record of the number of turns so a
keep the shrouds the same length.
