GEAR HEAD AND SPOOL
Curved split shaft grass trimmer (NPTGCP2517B)
■ Hold the main spool cover, and turn the spool head counter-clockwise to remove. Then remove the
main spool cover together with the spool from the grass trimmer (Fig. 96).
■ Remove the empty spool from the spool cover. Then remove the spring. (Fig. 97).
■ Install the spring to the new spool. Insert the new spool with spring into the spool cover. Release
both trimming lines from the parking slot and guide the lines into both eyelets (Fig. 98).
■ Install the whole main spool cover back to the grass trimmer. Hold the main spool cover, install the
spool head onto the main spool cover, and turn clockwise to secure it (Fig. 99).
