SECTION 18.21:
ADJUSTING ANKLE
HUGGERS
To adjust the sandal position on the footplate,
loosen the knob
, and move to the desired
position. Tighten the knob to secure in place.
To adjust the ankle hugger, adjust the position
of the Velcro strap around the ankle
, and
the length of the strap through the triglide
.
To position the user’s feet in the sandals,
secure the Velcro straps provided so the foot
is held in place. The straps should be placed
over the bridge of the foot
, and over the
toes
. The front strap can be fed through
one of two slots on either side of the sandals,
depending on the size of the user’s feet.
If the child is wearing sandals or
light footwear check the straps
to make sure the webbing does
not irritate the skin.
