Connecting to other devices
You can view pictures on a TV by connecting your camera to it with either an HDMI micro
cable or the supplied AV cable.
Compatible HDMI micro cables are available from specialist photo dealers. Make
absolutely sure to use only cables compatible with this camera.
Also consult the TV’s instructions.
Preparation:
Set [TV Aspect] to connect your camera to a TV using the AV cable (→62)
Turn off both camera and TV
Connect the camera to the TV
To connect with an HDMI micro cable
An HDMI micro cable can be used to enable viewing of still and motion pictures in high
resolution.
Make sure the plug is aligned correctly and that it is
inserted straight.
(Otherwise the connectors may be bent out of shape
which will cause trouble.)
Also, do not insert into the wrong socket. Doing so
may cause damage to the camera.

White: To audio socket

Turn on the TV
Set to auxiliary input
Turn on the camera, and then press the playback button
To let the camera start with Playback mode, keep the playback button pressed
while turning it on.
