Correction lenses
For optimum adaptation of the eye to the cam-
era’s viewfinder, correction lenses with the follow-
ing positive or negative dioptre values are avail-
able (spherical): 0,5/1/1,5/2/3.
MOTOR M
The LEICA MOTOR M (Order no.14408) can be
used on the LEICA MP for automatic shutter
cocking and film advancing for single or series ex-
posures of either 1.5 or 3 images per second. It is
attached to the bottom of the camera body in-
stead of the bottom cover.
The Motor M is suitable for all shutter speeds, i.e.
from 1s to 1/1000s including B. When the Motor
M is turned off or its batteries are flat, the film can
be advanced and the shutter cocked manually. Re-
mote release is possible using the cable release.
