3. Select the LNL-1300 jumpers:
J1 through J5: Device address
J6 & J7: ON (Baud Rate 38400)
J8: Encryption
J4: ON if this is the last device on the line (485 line termination)
Cabinet Tamper and Power Failure:
J3: ON (to bypass Cabinet tamper jumper)
4. Power Cycle the LNL-1300.
115.4.3 LNL-1320 Dual Reader Interface
1. Connect TR+, TR-, and GND on the LNL-1320 to the RS-485 bus from the panel.
2. Connect D0, D1, and GND to the 4G reader.
3. Select the LNL-1320 jumpers:
J3: ON 2W
J5: ON if this is the last device on the line (485 line termination)
4. Select the LNL-1320 DIP switches:
DIP switches through 5: LNL-1320 device address on the RS-485 bus
DIP switches 6 & 7: Both ON for a 38400 baud rate communication to the panel
DIP switch 8: Encryption
5. Power Cycle the LNL-1320.
115.5 Wiring 4G Verification Readers
The Bioscrypt 4G reader can be wired to a reader interface module or biometric reader interface gateway. Be
sure to assign the appropriate card format when configuring the reader in System Administration in the
Readers and Doors folder. The Device ID configured in SecureAdmin must match the Reader number in the
OnGuard configuration.
Wire pin 3 on the mini-connector to earth ground. Wire pins 1 and 2 on the mini-connector to the power
source.
Wire the reader as follows.
