11 - GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
DANGER
Before servicing, turn o electrical power to boiler at
service switch. Close manual gas valve to turn gas
supply OFF to boiler. Failure to comply will result in
death or serious injury.

11.4 Draining the Boiler
• turn boiler o
• isolate electrical supply
• close boiler gas service cock
• allow boiler to cool
• drain boiler through onboard drain if available or
external drain valve.
11.5 Draining the Heating Circuit
• Follow all steps in 11.4.
• Close central heating ow and return valves.
• Connect suitable pipe to drain point.
• Route it to suitable container.
• Open drain tap.
