Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Lennox MPDR-3328CPE Indoor Fireplace?
    • E
      Ernest ChoiJul 30, 2025
If the pilot light on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit even after following the lighting instructions, the issue might be a defective pilot generator thermocouple. Try cleaning and adjusting the pilot for the maximum flame impingement on the thermocouple. Also, make sure that the connection between the valve and thermocouple are tight and secure.

How to fix a Lennox MPDR-3328CPE Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor that won't light the pilot?
    • R
      Ross JamesAug 7, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace won't light the pilot after you've repeatedly pressed the ignitor button, there might be a defective ignitor spark at the electrode. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and everything is properly connected, you may need to replace the ignitor. Also, the gas supply pressure might be incorrect, so check the inlet gas pressure marked on the rating plate to ensure it's within the specified limits.

What to do if Lennox Indoor Fireplace pilot is burning, but no gas to the burner?
    • R
      Raymond FreemanAug 14, 2025
If your Lennox Indoor Fireplace pilot is burning but no gas is going to the burner, and the valve knob and wall switch are both 'ON,' the problem could be with the wall switch or its wiring. Check the wall switch and wires for proper connections. You can jumper the terminals at the wall switch; if the burner comes on, replace the wall switch. If that's okay, try jumpering the wires across the wall switch to the valve; if the burner then comes on, the wires are faulty. Alternatively, the thermopile may not be generating sufficient millivoltage. Check the thermopile terminals with a millivolt meter; it should read a minimum of 325 millivolts with the wall switch 'OFF.' If the reading is below this, replace the thermopile.

Why does my Lennox MPDR-3328CPE have frequent pilot/burner outages?
    • A
      andrea81Aug 22, 2025
If you're experiencing frequent pilot/burner outages with your Lennox Indoor Fireplace, it could be due to the pilot flame being either too low or too high, causing the pilot/safety to drop out. Try cleaning and adjusting the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the thermocouple.
