Computerscreenproblems
Problem:Thescreenisblank.
Solution:Dothefollowing:
PressF6tobringuptheimage.
Ifyouareusingtheacpoweradapter,orusingthebatteryandthePowerManagerbatterygauge
showsthatthebatteryisnotdepleted,pressF8tomakethescreenbrighter.
Ifyourcomputerisinsleepmode,pressFntoresumefromthesleepmode.
Iftheproblempersists,followthesolutionforthefollowingproblem.
Problem:Thescreenisunreadableordistorted.
Solution:Makesurethat:
Thedisplaydevicedriverisinstalledcorrectly.
Thescreenresolutionandcolorqualityarecorrectlyset.
Themonitortypeiscorrect.
Tocheckthesesettings,dothefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickPersonalize.
2.ClickDisplayattheleft.
3.SelectChangedisplaysettings.Checkwhetherthescreenresolutioniscorrectlyset.
4.ClickAdvancedSettings.
5.ClicktheAdaptertab.Ensurethatthecorrectdevicedrivernameisshownintheadapterinformation
window.

6.ClickthePropertiesbutton.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,type

isworkingcorrectly.Ifnot,clicktheTroubleshootbuttonandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
7.ClicktheMonitortab.Ensurethatthecorrectdevicedrivernameisshownintheadapterinformation
window.

thatthedeviceisworkingcorrectly.Ifnot,clicktheTroubleshootbuttonandfollowtheinstructions
