Processor options
The SN550 supports the Intel Xeon Processor Scalable Family options that are listed in the following table.
The server supports one or two processors.
All supported processors have the following characteristics:
14 nm process technology
Six DDR4 memory channels
48 PCIe 3.0 I/O lanes
1 MB L2 cache
1.375 MB L3 cache per core (except where larger, as noted with ** in the table below)
Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (except Bronze 3100 Series processors)
Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 (except Bronze 3100 Series processors)
Intel Advanced Vector Extensions 512 (AVX-512)
Intel Ultra Path Interconnect (UPI) links at 10.4 GT/s (replaces QPI)
With two processors installed, the processors are connected together using two UPI links. Processors with
the T suffix are those that have more robust thermal characteristics (higher T-case).
