When cam distance "a" has been measured, the corresponding tightening torque has
to be defined in compliance with the specification of Table 1. In doing this, it has to be
observed that increased tightening torques require screws of property class 10.9.
Use new retaining clip and new securing screw (enclosed small parts). A retaining clip
the geometry of which is comparable to the design previously mounted has to be used.
When looking from the direction of the motor, the clip must be mounted on the left side
of the gearbox securing cam.

Tightening direction
The securing screw has to be secured using a medium duty screw locking adhesive
(possibly the screw is already coated with micro−encapsulated adhesive by the factory).
The tightening torque ( 28)
When the securing screw has been tightened, the end position of the central thread is
to be checked.

Cam distance "a" < 1.5 mm
If possible, the cams are to be flush or not staggered by more than 1.5 mm (Fig. 11).
