Repetitive Defects at Photoconductor Drum Interval
• The Imaging Unit is more sensitive to ESD which can result in
spots or horizontal lines.
• If the Photoconductor Drum is damaged, it will cause a repeating
defect at 96.8mm.
• Be sure to measure the defect interval accurately. The Fuser
repeating defect distance is 94.25mm - 95.2mm.
• Print the Print Defects Guide from the Help Menu Pages in the
Customer Menus.
• Since the dimensions are so close to the fuser, try swapping
Imaging Units as a possible action to see if the defect follows the
Imaging Unit or Fuser.
• Replace the Part causing the problem.
