3 Register the front ADF:
a Set the printed target page into the paper tray facing up, and then navigate to Configuration mode > Scanner
Manual Registration > Print Quick Test.
b Remove the copy of the target page from the printer. If the copy is spaced evenly on the top margin and both
sides of the page, then the front side registration is complete.
If the copy is not spaced properly on the top and both sides, you will need to make an adjustment.
c Select ADF Front to make the front adjustments.
d Make adjustments as needed, and then select Submit.
e Load the target page in the ADF tray facing up, and then select Copy Quick Test to check the results.
f Repeat steps a through e until the copy is evenly spaced on the top and both sides.
Note: Once a test page with evenly spaced margins is generated, keep the copy as an aid in setting the ADF
magnification
4 Register the back ADF:
a Set the printed target page into the paper tray facing down, and then navigate to Configuration mode > Scanner
Manual Registration > Print Quick Test
b Remove the copy of the target page from the printer. If the copy is evenly spaced on the top and both sides
then the back side registration is complete.
If the copy is not spaced properly, you will need to make an adjustment.
c Select ADF Back to make the back side adjustments.
