Retuning the ADF magnification
Note: If the bottom arrows are touching the edge of the paper on both the front and the back side, the ADF scan
magnification is good and you can skip this section.
1 Power on the unit and perform an ADF Magnification test.
Navigate to Diagnostic mode > Scanner Tests > ADF Magnification.
2 Review both of the saved ADF copies and see where the target arrows fall on the bottom of the page.
If you cannot see them you will need to decrease ADF Magnification until the arrows are touching the bottom of
the page. If you can see the arrows but they are not touching the bottom of the page, you will need to increase
ADF magnification.
The range of adjustment is from 1.020 to 0.980 in increments of 0.005.
