Possible Problems/ Solutions
3. Make sure your device is not connected via another method than
Wi-Fi (example: mobile network connection such as 3G or 4G).
4. Open a browser on your device and type the correct address:
http://settings.incarhotspot.net
5. The default password to access the main settings page is admin
6. If you do not remember your password, you can reset your
device to factory settings. Please refer to the section Restoring
to Factory Settings
I cannot establish the
Wi-Fi connection
between my device
and the client.
Solution 1:
1. Make sure the Wi-Fi function of the Lexus Link 4G box is active:
the LED indicator “Wi-Fi” must be green (refer to the section
“Appearance” and “LED indicators” of this manual.
2. If this is not the case, press the “Wi-Fi ON/OFF” button of your
device (refer to the section “Appearance” to locate it.
Solution 2:
Refresh the Wi-Fi network list on your device and select the correct Wi-
Fi network: “InCarHotspot-XXXXXX” (XXXXXX is different for each
Lexus Link 4G box).
Solution 3:
Confirm that your Wi-Fi device is configured to obtain an IP address
automatically in the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) properties.
Solution 4:
Type the correct Wi-Fi network password when you connect to the
device. The default password is indicated on the front page of this
manual and on the Lexus Link 4G box (refer to the “Appearance” section
of this manual).

1. Connect to the Lexus Link 4G box via Wi-Fi
2. Go to the Main Settings page (http://settings.incarhotspot.net)
3. Confirm that the toggle button “Connection status” is set to
“active” (on mobile devices, this button is accessible in the
“Connection Status” sub-menu).
