Headlights
The instrument panel, side marker, parking, tail,
daytime running lights and license plate lights
turn on.
The headlights and all lights listed above
(except daytime running lights) turn on.
The headlights and parking lights turn on/off
automatically in accordance with ambient light
levels.
To engage the high beams, push the lever forward.
To flash the high beams temporarily, pull the lever
toward you.
Vehicles with the Automatic High Beam:
Pushing the lever forward when the headlight
switch is in the “AUTO” position activates the
Automatic High Beam.
■ AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)
AFS improves visibility at intersections and on curves by automatically adjusting the direc-
tion of light axis of the headlights according to vehicle speed and the degree of the tire angle
that are controlled by steering input.
To cancel the system, press the “AFS OFF” switch.
The indicator comes on when the system is off.
Press the switch again to reactivate the AFS.
