Why is nothing showing up on my LG 25UM56 screen?

  If nothing is displayed on your LG Monitor, ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into the outlet and the power cable is properly connected. Also, press the power button. Make sure the connected input is enabled in the monitor's menu. If the monitor is in sleep mode, move the mouse or press any key. Also, verify that your computer is turned on. If the signal cable between the PC and the monitor is missing or disconnected, check the cable and reconnect it. Finally, if signals transferred from the PC are out of the monitor's frequency range, refer to the 'Product Specification' section of the manual to set the appropriate frequency.

  If the display color on your LG Monitor is abnormal, first, set the color to 24 bit (true color) or higher via Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality in Windows. Also, check the signal cable connection; reconnect it or reinsert the PC's video card. Note that pixilated spots (red, green, blue, white or black) may appear, which is normal for LCD screens and not an error.
