The available general settings are described in the following.
Setting Description
Menu Language Selects a desired language.
Input Label Selects a label for an input source to identify a device connected to each input source. (see p.25)
SIMPLINK Sets to control and play other AV devices connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. Other devices
should support HDMI-CEC profile and SIMPLINK logo. (see p.48)
Key Lock Locks or unlocks the buttons on the TV.
Caption/Text Sets whether to display captions and customize your option in each mode.
Mode
Mode 1-2 Displays the audio portion of a TV program as text on the TV screen.
Mode1 is the most common mode in use.

Set ID Adds an ID to the connected devices. (see p.57)
Power Indicator Sets to turn on off the indicator light on the TV.
Option
Standby Light Sets to turn on off the indicator light in Standby mode.
Power Light Sets to turn on off the indicator light when you turn on the power.
Demo Mode Sets to show special features of the TV.
Mode Setting Default selection is “Home Use”. We recommend setting the TV to “Home Use” mode for the best
picture in your home environment.
Option
Home Use Selects it for the home environment.
Store Demo Selects it for the retail environment.
Initial Setting Resets the TV to factory default and erases all stored channels.
Customizes the TV settings to suit your preference. The initial setup screen will appear when you
turn on the TV for the first time.
