Instant Timer Recording
You can set the recording time instantly to stop the
recording automatically.
1. Use CH (
W/S
) to select a programme you
want to record.
2. Press REC. (
X
) to start recording.
Press ENTER (
b
) to display the progress of
recording.
If you want to change recording time during
recording, press REC. (
X
) button then, change it
in the Record option menu.
3. Press
Z
to stop recording.
y
The external USB HDD recording feature is
only supported on rst primary partition
and it must be formatted with 4KB block
NTFS.
y
If the unit cannot catch the signal, the
recording will be pause, actual recording
time can be less than the time set on timer.
y
The quality of recording can be different on
the status of the broadcast signal.
y
During the recording, turning off by force
can cause a serious problem on hard disk
drive.
y
Recording can be restarted when contents
status is changed and it’ll separate recording
title into two individual title consequently.

Note
Recording from Video/Audio
Input
You can record from an external composite, such as
a camcorder, connected to any of the unit’s external
inputs.
1. Make sure that the component you want to
record from is connected properly to the unit.
See page 19.
2. Select the recording location using [Default
Recording Device] option on the Setting menu.

3. While watching TV, press INPUT or select [AV]
option on Home menu to select the external
input.
Record with external input is not available if
youre recoding TV broadcasting.
4. Press REC. (
X
) once to start recording.
The REC indicator lights in the display window.
5. Press
Z
(STOP) to stop recording.

If your source is copy-protected using
CopyGuard, you will not be able to record
it using this recorder. For more details, See

In case an incoming signal is NTSC,

while recording process is underway using
the external input.
