What to do if my LG Washer shows an IE inlet error?
- AAshley WheelerJul 29, 2025
If your LG washer displays an IE inlet error, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the water supply faucets are fully open. Next, check that the water inlet hoses behind or under the washer are not kinked, pinched, or crushed. Also, the water inlet filters might be clogged and require cleaning. Low water supply pressure to the faucet or house could also be the problem; check another faucet to ensure adequate household water pressure. Disconnect the water inlet hoses from the washer and run a few gallons of water through the hoses to flush out any dirt. If flow is too low, contact a plumber to have the water supply lines repaired. Finally, the use of hoses designed to limit leaks is not recommended because they can trip falsely and prevent the washer from filling.
