Michelle CarrSep 4, 2025
If your LG washing machine is making a vibrating noise, stop the washer and rearrange the wash load to distribute it evenly in the drum. Also, adjust the leveling feet to ensure all four are firmly on the floor. Make sure the floor is solid and doesn't flex. Refer to the Flooring section in the Installation guide for more details.

A thumping sound from your LG washing machine can be normal with heavy wash loads. It may also indicate that the load is out of balance. If the sound continues, stop the washer and redistribute the wash load.

J
Jennifer MartinezSep 6, 2025
If your LG washing machine displays a message indicating that the lid is not closed properly, make sure that the lid is fully closed and press the START/PAUSE button. It may take a few moments for the drum to begin turning or spinning. The washer will not spin unless the lid is locked (the LID LOCK light will turn on). If the lid is closed and locked, and the error message persists, it is recommended to call for service.
