The Lifepro Electrostride Treadmill is a home-use fitness device designed for cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength training. It offers a convenient and effective way to engage in aerobic exercise, such as walking, jogging, or running, within the comfort of your home. The treadmill is engineered with a low-decibel motor, making it suitable for quiet in-home operation. Its foldable design allows for compact storage, either under a bed, couch, or desk, or stood on-end against a wall, without the need for tools or screws for folding.
The Electrostride Treadmill comes equipped with 36 preset training programs (P01-P36) to provide a variety of workout challenges. Additionally, it features three user-programmable programs (U01-U03) that allow you to create and save personalized workouts tailored to your specific fitness goals. For tracking progress, a built-in body fat calculator (B-11) measures your Body Mass Index (BMI). Bluetooth functionality enables connection to fitness apps, allowing you to set training goals, track workouts, and monitor fitness progress. The device aims to help users achieve results in as little as 15-20 minutes a day.
Using the Electrostride can lead to several benefits, including increased strength and stamina, regulated weight through calorie burning, decreased chronic pain by improving core strength and circulation, boosted metabolism, reduced stress, lower blood pressure, and stronger bones.
To get started, the treadmill needs to be assembled, which is designed to be a quick process. First, the folded treadmill body and hardware are laid out. The upright posts are then lifted into their fully upright position and secured by tightening hand screws. Next, the handrail height is adjusted and locked into place, and the handrail is rotated down until it clicks into position. The iPad holder is rotated forward to release a spring pin, then rotated back and up to secure it. Finally, the water bottle holder is attached to the left upright post using the provided screws and hex key. Before the first use, the treadmill belt must be lubricated according to the instructions provided.
Operating the Electrostride involves several steps to ensure safety and proper function. To power on, the power cord is plugged into the motor housing and a grounded wall outlet, then the Power switch is flipped to the ON position. A safety clip is essential for operation; it must be inserted into the red slot on the treadmill frame and clipped securely to your clothing. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key. When getting on, users should hold the handrail, stand on the foot rails, and step onto the running belt only after it has started moving at a slow, consistent speed (no more than 1.9 mi/hr). To stop, the red Stop button is pressed, and users should wait for the belt to completely stop before dismounting. Powering off involves removing the safety key, flipping the Power switch to OFF, and unplugging the power cord.
In case of an emergency, users are instructed to stop training immediately if they feel unwell or cannot keep up. Pulling the safety key cord will stop the treadmill instantly. Users should firmly hold the handrail and place their feet on the foot rails. Practicing emergency dismounts is recommended. To prevent unauthorized use, the safety key should always be removed and stored separately after training. During exercise, maintaining a forward-facing posture, breathing calmly, staying hydrated, wearing appropriate athletic clothing, and regularly checking pulse using handrail sensors are advised.
The keypad controls include a Program Button to select workouts (manual, preset, user, BMI calculator), a Mode Button to customize manual workouts (time, distance, calorie goals), and +/- Buttons to adjust speed or workout parameters. Display windows show calories/distance and time/speed/pulse, with corresponding indicator LEDs. Handrail controls offer quick access to Stop, Start/Pause, and speed adjustment buttons, as well as pulse sensors.
The treadmill offers various training modes for manual workouts: setting a specific training time goal, distance goal, or calorie goal. These modes will count down the set goal and automatically stop the treadmill upon completion. The BMI calculation program (B-11) guides users through entering gender, age, weight, and height, then measures pulse rate to calculate and display BMI.
Maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of the Electrostride. Before any maintenance, the treadmill must be switched off and unplugged. Regular checks for damage and loose screws are necessary. Children are not allowed to use the treadmill, and the safety key should be removed when not in use. The maximum user weight is 200 lbs, and the machine should not run continuously for more than two hours.
Cleaning involves wiping the treadmill with a damp cloth after each workout, avoiding chemical cleaners. The running belt's lubrication should be checked weekly by lifting the front third of the belt and feeling for lubrication. If insufficient, silicone oil (provided) should be applied in a wavy line from the middle to the sides of the belt, not exceeding 10-20ml per weekly lubrication. After lubricating, the belt should run for 5 minutes at 2.5 mi/hr without load to distribute the oil evenly. The belt's alignment should also be checked weekly; if it runs to one side, it needs adjustment using a 6mm hex key at the back end of the belt. The motor compartment should be cleaned monthly by vacuuming visible dust after removing the motor cover. Mounting materials (bolts and nuts) should be checked and tightened monthly.
The treadmill is designed for indoor use, away from moisture and dust, in a dry environment between 50°F - 86°F. It requires at least 7 feet of clearance behind and 4 feet to the front and sides. Placing a mat or rug underneath is recommended to protect floors and ensure stability. In case of a power surge, a Fault-Current button acts as a circuit breaker; it needs to be pressed back in after unplugging and turning off the unit. A fuse also protects against overvoltage and may need replacement.
The Electrostride Treadmill supports Bluetooth connectivity for fitness apps like AnyRun and Kinomap, allowing users to track workouts and set goals. It also offers a conversion feature between metric and British/Imperial measurement systems by simultaneously pressing the Program and Mode buttons.
