TIPS FOR USE
• Sit or lie comfortably during use. Do not stand or walk around
while using the device to keep it from falling off during
treatment.
• Use on clean, bare skin, do not use over clothing.
• It may be difficult to create an airtight seal when using over
hairy areas.
• You may lightly dampen your skin with a wet washcloth if
desired.
• If you wish to use slide cupping therapy, apply oil or lotion to
your skin (make sure it does not contain capsaicin). Allow the
oil or lotion to absorb into your skin before use. Then you can
slide the cup along the treated muscle.
• We recommend using the device for just 2 minutes on the
lowest settings the very first time you use it. For the first
week, use the RelievaCup for one 10-minute session, per
treated area. After that, you can slowly increase the session
length if desired. We recommend 10–20-minute sessions,
once or twice a week.
• The device will automatically power off after 20 minutes of
use. Do not use continuously for more than 20 minutes.
• Bruising is normal. The cup marks may be present for up to
10 days.
• Wait until the cup marks are gone before starting another
cupping session in the same area.
• Drink plenty of water to help your body recover.
• You may not feel results for a few days or a few sessions.
• Wipe down the cup with an alcohol-soaked pad after each use.
Wipe the RelievaCup device with a soft, dry cloth as needed.
WARNING
• Do not use the device near the womb if you are pregnant.
• Do not use if you have a pacemaker or another electronic
medical implant.
• Do not look into the RelievaCup opening. Avoid direct eye
contact with the LEDs. Never disassemble the device.
