Before using the accessory kit for the rst time
Caution! Unless there is a label stating sterile on the kit, the
accessory kit is not supplied sterile. It’s not necessary that the parts
be sterile, but some must be sanitized before the rst time you use
the pump. After the rst time you use the pump, the accessories will
only need a simple cleaning procedure, see page 31-5.
DO NOT BOIL THESE PARTS
The lter, tubing, connector, clamp, and “Y” connector do not need
to be sanitized as air is all that ows through the parts. The lter is
designed to last the duration of your current breast-feeding goals.
See “Caution” on page 25 to prevent clogging.
