Expressing Your Milk
Expressing breast milk
For assembling pump and accessories, see page 19-5.
1. Plug cord into outlet.
2. Center the breast cups over the nipples and turn the pump on
by pressing the cycle speed/power knob (1).
3. Once you’ve begun pumping, you can adjust vacuum strength
and cycle speed to your comfort. See “Controls and Features” on
page 19.
4. Hold one storage container in the
crook of your arm and the other in your
hand. Now one hand is free to adjust
pump settings, rock the cradle, or
answer the phone.
5. When nished pumping, turn off
pump then remove breast cups from
breast. Carefully set storage
containers into holders (6),
on page 4) to prevent
tipping over and milk spilling
into tubing.
Caution! Turn off pump rst before removing breast cups from
breast. Do not tip storage containers or allow them to overll or milk
will enter tubing and lter. If this happens, remove lter, rinse tubing
with cool water and then warm water. Air dry. The lter must be
replaced if it gets wet or if milk gets inside. See page 20.
