What to do if Lincoln Electric WELD-PAK 100 HD has no wire feed, weld output, or gas flow but fan operates normally?
    • J
      Jennifer StephensAug 1, 2025
If your Lincoln Electric Welding System experiences no wire feed, weld output, or gas flow, but the fan operates normally, the thermostat may have tripped due to overheating. Allow the machine to cool down. Ensure there are no obstructions in the airflow. Also, weld at a lower duty cycle. Check the gun trigger connections, and verify that the gun trigger is not faulty. See the Installation section for additional guidance.

What to do if Lincoln Electric WELD-PAK 100 HD has no wire feed when gun trigger is pulled, but fan runs and gas flows?
    • K
      Kevin RodriguezAug 21, 2025
If your Lincoln Electric Welding System experiences no wire feed when the gun trigger is pulled, but the fan runs, gas flows, and the machine has the correct open circuit voltage, first ensure the correct drive rolls are installed if the wire drive motor is running. Check for a clogged cable liner or contact tip. Also, check for the proper size cable liner and contact tip.
