To address this, shut off the pump, perform the pressure relief procedure, and disassemble the pump. Check if the gland nut is tight. Remove the gland nut and its parts, then replace the O-ring, U-cup packing, packing, and gasket. Also, inspect the piston rod and replace it if it's worn.
