How to fix Linksys Extender cannot connect to router?

  If your Linksys Extender won't connect to the router, ensure you're using the same wireless network name and password as your router. For the initial setup, position the extender closer to the router. After setup, you can move it to its final location. Also, try different locations for both the router and extender to minimize signal obstructions. Keep them away from metal objects, masonry walls, reflective surfaces like glass or mirrors, and other electronics that might cause interference. If you're using WPS, wait for the WPS indicator to stop blinking before attempting the connection again.

  If you cannot access the Linksys RE6250, verify that you are connected to the extended wireless network name of your extender. Try powercycling the extender. If that doesn't work, move the extender closer to your router. You can also look up the extender’s IP address on your router’s DHCP Client Table and try to ping it. As a last resort, reset the extender and go through the setup process again.
