If your Lippert Boating Equipment Bimini top isn't completely closing, there are several potential causes. First, make sure your battery is fully charged. Low power can keep the top from closing completely. Next, check the electrical connections to the actuator and helm switch, and reconnect any loose connections. Inspect the wiring for any damage, repairing or replacing as needed. A damaged actuator or something blocking the gear handle can also prevent complete closure. If the actuator is damaged or the gear handle is blocked, perform a manual override after removing any obstructions.
