5.1.2 Cleaning sensors
The sensor’s measurement channels must be cleaned regularly since contamination in the sensor area
can impair cleaning efficiency and can cause an increase in cuts and misclassifications.
Notes on cleaning sensors
Do not apply cleaning agents directly to the sensors!
Do not use sharp and hard objects for cleaning!
Do not immerse sensors in cleaning agents!
After the sensor's measurement channel has been cleaned, it is recommended to adjust
the spindle or group.
When using kerosene, antistatic oils, dyes and other chemical additives such as
poligomers or titanium dioxide, the sensor area must be cleaned at shorter intervals.
