  There might be no sound via the external digital audio amplifier because it doesn't support the selected sound format (Dolby Digital, dts, MPEG). To fix this, set PCM stereo on the DVD player in the sound selection. For DVB stations on the TV set, switch to stereo in the Status display (END) – Language/sound (green button). Another reason could be that the TV and amplifier aren't correctly connected. Connect AUDIO DIGITAL OUT from the TV to a digital input on the amplifier and select the appropriate input.

  If the control functions of the Loewe Recorder and the Timer aren't working properly, it could be due to a few reasons: * The Digital Link function isn't activated or isn't possible in the recorder. Activate Digital Link in the recorder (see operating instructions of the recorder). * The EURO-AV cable isn't connected. Connect EURO-AV cable (page 47). * The recorder isn't logged in. Register recorder (page 44).

  If the connection of a decoder isn't functioning correctly, there are a couple of potential reasons. First, the signal might not be decoded because the correct decoder stations haven't been selected in the connection wizard. To resolve this, follow the instructions in the connection wizard (TV menu ? Connections ? New devices/modifications) and select the appropriate decoder transmitter (page 44). Second, in decoder mode, sound might be missing because the wrong decoder sound has been assigned in the connection wizard. To fix this, follow the instructions in the connection wizard and select the right audio source (Decoder, TV oder Autom.) (page 44), see also decoder instructions.

  If the picture of a connected external recorder is visible but the timer cannot be called, the device is not registered in the connection wizard or is connected differently to shown in the connection diagram. In the connection wizard (TV menu ? Connections ? New devices/modifications) compare the connection diagram with the actual installation and connect as illustrated (page 44).

  If Digital Link Plus isn't working, it could be because: * The EURO-AV cable isn't fully wired (pin 10 not wired). Replace the EURO-AV cable. * Some recorders can only adopt stations during the initial installation of the TV set. Restore the recorder to the as-delivered state (see recorder's operating manual).

  If all menus are displayed in the wrong language, it means that the menu language was set incorrectly. To fix this, set the menu language: Press the INFO button in TV mode (Index). Mark the first key word and call it with OK. Then select the language and confirm it with OK.

  If a photo on the USB stick isn't displayed correctly in the PhotoViewer, or a "?" appears, it means the photo isn't in a displayable format. Convert the photo file into a standard JPG format on your PC.

  If, in the TV menu, 'Connections' cannot be accessed (displayed in grey), it is because a timer recording is in progress. Wait until the timer recording ends or delete the timer recording (page 55).

  A programmed recording might not have been made for the following reasons: * Recording of analogue stations with VPS data: The programme to be recorded was not (no longer) in the programmes offered by the station via VPS. * Recording of DVB stations with automatic time control: The provider deleted the programme from the EPG data, for example due to a programme change. The stations are exclusively responsible for the transmission of VPS data (for analogue stations) or for the use of the automatic time control (for DVB or MHEG-5 stations). The availability of the appropriate data cannot be guaranteed.
