  If you're not getting any sound through your external digital audio amplifier, there could be a couple of reasons: 1. The amplifier might not support the sound format being used (like Dolby Digital, dts, or MPEG). To fix this, set your DVD player to PCM stereo in the sound selection. For DVB stations on the TV, switch to stereo in the Status display (INFO) – Language/sound (green button). 2. The TV and amplifier might not be properly connected. Make sure to connect the AUDIO DIGITAL OUT from the TV to a digital input on the amplifier, and then select the correct input on the amplifier.

Press the V+ button on the remote control for a while to increase the volume and cancel any mute settings. * Second, check the Sound components settings in the Connections menu. If there's an audio device registered that isn't actually connected or doesn't exist, either connect the device and turn it on, or switch back to TV speakers in the Sound components wizard.
