8. Once the food is thoroughly cooked, raise the frying basket and wait a few seconds to
let the steam subside.
9. Shake the frying basket slightly to remove excess oil and transfer the food carefully to a
heat-proof utensil.
10. Place the frying basket back into the fryer and close the lid.
11. Adjust the temperature control to MIN. Switch o the mains socket and then UNPLUG
THE FRYER. Now leave the fryer to completely cool down (approx. 3 hours) before
cleaning.
Allow time for your fryer to heat up to the proper temperature again if you are
frying more than one basket of food.
Resetting the Safety Thermostat
Reset the safety thermostat if excessive temperatures are reached (normally due to low
levels of oil used).
1. Unplug the fryer from the mains socket and allow time for the fryer to completely cool
down.
2. Check the oil level. If it is below the minimum level, oil should be added before setting
the fryer and resuming cooking cycles.
3. To reset the safety thermostat, slide out the control panel and heater unit from the fryer
casing. Use a small screwdriver to press in the reset button at the control element.
