How many screws come with the system?
The system comes with 2 screws. You only need two screws to mount the system to the back of
an LCD monitor with a VESA mount and independent stand.
Is there a software CD included with the system?
No. The browser-based remote software is built into the system.
NOTE: Some systems may include a Documentation CD. Only the Instruction Manual and Quick
Start Guide are included on this CD.
What is my ID and password?
By default, your system ID is 2; your password is 2222. This is the administrator ID and password.

see “Managing Passwords” on page 17.
My system is not connecting to my local network.
Power off your system and connect the included Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the rear panel,
then power your system back on.
1. Press the button twice on the remote control to open the System Information screen on
the DVR. Under LAN, find the IP address of your system.
2. On your PC, click Start and select Run. In the Run window, enter cmd and click OK. The
Command Prompt window opens.
ATTENTION: Before attempting to connect locally or remotely (over the Internet), you must
have a router in order to network the system.
