What to do if my Lorex LH040 ECO is not powering up?

  If your Lorex DVR is not powering up, ensure that all cables are connected correctly, especially the power adapter at the back of the unit. If you have a power switch, make sure it is in the ON position. Also, confirm that the system is powered on by checking the LED indicators on the front. If connected through a power bar or surge protector, try connecting the power cable directly to the wall outlet. Finally, test the outlet with another device or try another outlet to ensure it's providing power.

  If your Lorex DVR's hard drive is full and it's no longer recording, the 'Overwrite' function may not be enabled. To resolve this, go to the Main Menu, select DEVICE>HDD, choose 'Auto' under 'Overwrite', and then click 'Apply'.

  If the hard drive is not detected by your Lorex DVR system, first, remove the housing and check that the hard drive cables are firmly connected. If there is no hard drive, open the housing and install a compatible hard drive.
