4.8 ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER
The electronic controller controls the whole work of the boiler. It controls boiler temperature, water circulation pump,
hot tap water pump (optional), fan, and the feeder. The controller has an LCD. The controller works in the hand mode and
in the automatic mode. The operation of the controller should be performed strictly according to the manuals enclosed
to the boiler and to the controller. Before connecting the controller to the wiring system the user should make sure that
the wires are not in any way damaged. When the wires are damaged, the controller cannot be connected to the system,
as it can result in electric shock.
5. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
5.1 FILLING UP WITH WATER
Filling the boiler and the whole heating system with water should be done with the use of the drain valve (it should be
installed on the returning cold water inlet with the use of a T-connection). It is important not to airlock the system while
filling it with water.
Filling up the system with water during the boiler’s work is unacceptable and forbidden, especially
when the boiler is considerably heated, as it can cause damage or burst.
At the end of the heating season water should not be drained from the system and from the boiler. If such a
need occurs, previously cooled water is drained through the drain valve.
5.2 HOW TO OPERATE THE FEEDING SYSTEM
5.2.1 USE RANGE AND PROPERTIES OF THE FEEDER
Solid fuel feeders of TERMO-TECH type are suited to the work with particular types of fuel. The rules concerning the
parameters of the fuel used should be strictly observed, otherwise the warranty for the equipment can be lost. The
guidelines concerning the fuel are specified in the Operation and Maintenance Manual of water central heating boilers of
KRS TECH-DUO type in point 4.1. Low quality of fuel can cause the break-off of the screw that protects the motoreductor
from the overwork damage. Such a damage should be repaired by the owner themselves, as it is not included in the
warranty (the break-off is caused by the low quality of fuel). Changing of the screw does not cause warranty loss. This
repair should be done with due care and attention paid to the safety rules.
